Wow, people actually read this thing. Thanks to Robin, we now know a bit more about the Pomegranate Cafe. It was scheduled to open on Oct 1, but that didn't happen. However, we should expect an opening soon. And as the name implies, they will be serving rice bowls, rolled sushi and dumplings. What? Maybe the owners are really big fans of this superfruit. Also, if you didn't know, next month is national pomegranate month. So if you don't make it to the restaurant, at least eat a pomegranate. Thursday, October 9, 2008

Here's to hoping they serve some good sushi. A bit disappointed with the quality at Sushi-Jin. :( Could use some authentic food also rice bowls (donburi bowls) and sushi at a place like Pomegranate Cafe? A bit confusing?
Agreed.. The sushi at Sushi Jin keeps me and my wife headed to Tako in Bethesda when we get a craving.. Hopefully Pomegranate Cafe can fill the SS void.
